Osteoporosis Screening

What is this screening?

A bone density test uses X-rays to measure the amount of calcium and other bone minerals in a portion of your bones. The results can determine if your bones are fragile and more likely to break.

Who needs this screening?

Most women age 65 years and older should have a bone measurement test to prevent osteoporotic fractures.
