Advantage MD Thrives at The Power of Age Expo

The largest event of its kind in the Mid-Atlantic region, The Power of Age Expo 2024 took place on Oct. 30 at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, drawing more than 8,000 attendees. Once again, Advantage MD was a proud sponsor at the annual event showcasing resources for older adults, veterans, people who have disabilities, caregivers and others.

Hosted by the Baltimore County Department of Aging, the huge event marked its 37th year of celebrating older adults and reimagining aging, with proceeds going to support the Seniors in Need Program. Along with providing health screenings, assistance with Medicare drug plan selection and flu and pneumonia vaccinations, the expo offered 158,000 square feet of one-stop shopping featuring hundreds of exhibitors.

Advantage MD attended the all-day event, greeting visitors and providing free health resources and information about Medicare Advantage plans. Fair-goers enjoyed live entertainment, an art exhibit, Zumba sessions and even a pickleball tournament. Advantage MD is honored to have sponsored this extraordinary community event.
