Postpartum Visit

What is this visit?

A checkup to make sure you are healing well after having a baby.

Who needs this visit?

Individuals who give birth. If you had a c-section, your doctor will likely want to see you within a week or two to check your wound. If you delivered your baby vaginally, typically your doctor will want to see you about 6 weeks after delivery. Of course, you can see your doctor at any time for concerns or problems.
