LetsGetChecked At-Home Test Kits

The key to staying ahead of health problems and preventing serious health conditions, such as colon cancer or diabetes, is with annual well-care visits and regular testing and screening for specific diseases.
The truth is, many people feel too busy or would rather avoid the inconvenience of a testing appointment. That’s why we are working with LetsGetChecked to send no-cost, convenient at-home testing kits to help you manage your health condition.
The tests are free to eligible Advantage MD members.

At-Home Testing
At-home testing is an easy way to help you take control of your health.
Here’s what happens when you receive your LetsGetChecked at-home test:
- You will receive a test kit with detailed instructions and a prepaid envelope to send your completed test to the lab.
- Complete the test in the privacy and comfort of your own home — most tests take less than 15 minutes to complete.
- Then, simply send it off to the lab in the pre-paid envelope that came with your kit. It’s that easy.
Soon after you complete your test and send it to the lab, you will receive results in the mail. If you have a primary care provider, a copy of your results will be sent to them. We encourage you to discuss your results with your PCP.
Testing at home may be a good option for you and your health care provider to manage your health.
It offers many convenient advantages:
- No special preparation is needed
- No need to make time for an appointment
- You can collect your test sample in the privacy of your own home
- Your test kit is delivered right to your door
- Free, prepaid shipping for sending your sample to the lab
Advantage MD will be sending the following LetsGetChecked at-home test kits to eligible Advantage MD members:
- A1C Test Kit — This test measures your blood glucose levels over the past few months. It can help show how well your current diabetes treatment is working and how well your condition is being controlled.
- Colon Cancer FIT Test Kit — The Fecal Immunochemical Test kit, or FIT kit, is a simple, noninvasive colon cancer screening test. The test looks at the DNA and blood cells in your stool sample to detect both and cancer and pre-cancer.
- Kidney Disease Test Kit — This test kit collects a small blood and urine sample. The tests measure how well your kidneys are filtering waste products from your blood.
